Way Cool to an N-Gen

My oldest daughter just completed her senior year in a highschool that was one of the frontier schools in the laptop program. Being a technology director, I was always inquiring about what they did with this program and that. The typical response was, "Oh, Mom." and eyes rolling up. Rarely did I get any elaborate high tech description because, "it was just ordinary school work."

This last spring she came home and said, "Mom, Our group presentation was absolutely the best!" Everything went great and it was "da bomb!"

I just knew I would hear an explosion of high tech computer use. I asked what was the group presentation.

She said, "Well, everybody ALWAYS does multimedia presentations and we were going to do that if this didn't work, but we had everybody sit in a circle and TALK!"
